Early Childhood Education

  • Provide engaging learning opportunities to children ages 3-5 while assisting early childhood school teachers

  • Focus on planning educational activities, leadership, and child development through online and face-to-face learning

  • Students attend Mott Community College for coursework

Advanced studies in Early Childhood Education for second-year students continue college coursework in early childhood education through Mott Community College and earn their Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate upon program completion.

Teacher Cadet Academy*

  • Work with education leaders to learn current educational strategies needed to jump-start your teaching career

  • The curriculum utilizes a hands-on approach to educate students on the requirements to become a successful teacher and enables students to put their knowledge to work through a classroom internship

  • Students participating in this program have the opportunity to enroll in the GCCTEEMC and complete a 13th year combining high school and college credits towards an associate or bachelor's degree program in education
