Students who join the US Army Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) class will have the opportunity to explore exciting military careers, with no military obligation, while developing leadership skills.
The US Army JROTC mission is to motivate cadets to be better citizens. JROTC leadership and education curriculum were developed nationally using the latest teaching methods with units covering character development, leadership, physical fitness, American history, citizenship, government, geography, earth science, and military skills.
US Army JROTC also offers many opportunities for team building, advancement, self-discipline, and achievement while also giving back to the community. Cadets earning a position in the Armed Forces will enjoy advanced rank placement, scholarship opportunities for college ROTC, and competitive placement with military academies. There are also opportunities for free college credits and high school credit articulation.
